We have Hickory floors. We had early American stain, which looked good. The company suggested we consider changing to natural to take advantage of the grain found in Hickory. We agreed and glad we did - the result was beautiful. They took off the finish and the stain, down to the bare wood, added two coats of a new finish. We also had water damage from a leak under the washer in the laundry room. They took out the bad wood, added new Hickory floor in the affected area and the finished product looked perfect.
